HAPPY V-DAY, ALL! For what it's worth, eat plenty of candy. There's a drama group at UVA called Shakespeare on the Lawn, and below is an excerpt from a forwarded email advertising their $-making activities for today.

Announcing, for the second year running, Shakespeare on the Lawn's patent-pending Sonnet Grams!!!!!
That's right, for a mere $5 you can get a member of SotL to recite in humorous or amorous fashion a sonnet (18, 36, 46, or 57) to that special victim, errr... someone as well as delivering a flower and candy. Don't pass up this opportunity to make a truly memorable Valentine's Day gesture! Let us do all of the flowery language, gesticulation, and embarrassing public proclamations of love for you! Embarrass a friend, woo a loved one, surprise a professor with our prostrations!
Sign up on the Lawn between 10 am and 4 pm tomorrow, Monday and Tuesday. All you need is $5 in cash, a name, and a time and place to deliver the sonnet. You are responsible for making sure the target is in place. Make your Valentine's Day special while helping to make our productions more professional - it's a win-win situation!

Sincerely,
Shakespeare on the Lawn

Harry Potter allusions end here. Have a wonderful day.
